New Mexico Highlands University
seeks a Provost to lead academic endeavors and strategic enrollment to new heights of excellence and to explore outreach to new populations of students. The University welcomes innovation in the development of new academic programs and collaboration with all other units in the University to implement those programs. The Provost reports directly to the President of NMHU and is the chief academic officer providing strategic leadership and support to the president and the overall Highlands community. The Provost is responsible for strategic initiatives for the College of Arts & Sciences, Facundo Valdez School of Social Work, School of Business, Media, and Technology, and School of Education, Office of Institutional Research, Center for Teaching and Learning, Graduate School, Outcomes Assessment, centers statewide, Registrar’s Office, and enrollment management, and other student support offices.
