MID-HUDSON FORENSIC PSYCHIATRIC CENTER (MHFPC) is a secure adult psychiatric center that provides a comprehensive program of evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients admitted by court order.
FT- ADULT INPATIENT SCHEDULE: Shift hours could be five 8-hr shifts or four 10-hour shifts 2 hrs. north of Manhattan. No travel. ALL INCLUSIVE RATES This role is a combination of both clinical psychiatry and forensic evaluations and report writing. This is a bid process: Bid due date: 03/28/2025 at 3 PM EST.
REQUIRED:
NY state license; active, unrestricted Board Certified-Psychiatry NY Medicaid Enrollment Minimum 1-2 years post residency experience. Formal forensic training or prior forensic experience is not required. Forensic responsibilities can be taught during orientation process. COMPENSATION:
Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications) Malpractice insurance provided. Extended leave will not be permitted during this assignment. Shorter leaves (e.g., one week or less) may be considered.
