Quality Control Representative - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Control Representative - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Duties:

1. Oversight of quality and technical reviews of work packages and designs.
2. Oversight of supplier inspection activities.
3. Review of radiographic film and other nondestructive test results.
4. Verification of specific Supplier Quality Assurance Program implementation activities.
5. Resolve discrepancies identified in work packages and designs.
6. Perform duties as liaison to (or act as) ASME B31.3 Owner's Inspector as defined in Para. 340 of ASME B31.3.
7. Prepare Surveillance Plans and Surveillance Reports.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED.

Experience:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Industrial Quality Control associated with mechanical design/fabrication, and/or examination/inspection of industrial pressure piping.
• Areas of focus should be on Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) and/or Welding aspects of the equipment and associated piping systems.

Salary: Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $115,000 and $165,000 (DOE) annually.
