We are seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Manager
to lead quality assurance programs and on-site lab in
Dubuque, IA
. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing quality documentation, overseeing laboratory personnel, and maintaining certifications such as ISO 9001 and IFS. This is a direct Hire professional position. Meaning, the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for the robust company’s benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead
QA personnel
and oversee food safety programs.
Ensure
ISO 9001 and IFS
compliance, conduct audits, and manage CAPA investigations.
Perform
GMP & sanitation inspections
and resolve quality-related issues.
Investigate and address
customer quality concerns
.
Act as the primary contact for e
xternal audits and regulatory compliance
.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
in Science-related field or
5-10 years
of relevant experience.
Previous
people leadership
experience in a Quality related position
Preferred: HACCP, FSMA PCQI, IFS, Food Defense, and ISO certifications.
