Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: Not specified Shift: Variable Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Critical Care experience preferred License: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of residence Certifications: American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: New graduates will be accepted Job Description: - Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process - Act as a patient advocate, providing support, information, and direct care - Skillfully utilize equipment and technology with technical competence in nursing procedures - Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues - Handle the inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications when required - May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination as per departmental policy - Work weekends as per unit needs and expected to work extra hours on occasion - On-call requirement Benefits: - Medical, prescription, vision, and dental insurance - Flexible spending accounts - Disability insurance plans - Life insurance - Paid time off plans - Retirement plans - Tuition assistance - Employee assistance - Access to on-site childcare and a credit union - Relocation assistance available - Sign-on bonuses for nurses with more than one year of experience with a two-year commitment
