Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopedic, Med Surg units, Resource Center / Float and Progressive Care Unit . We welcome experienced nurses, student nurses, and recent graduates to apply! Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply prior to graduation Current Connecticut RN license or temporary work eligibility per State of CT DPH Graduate Nurse guidelines BLS certification from the American Heart Association For over 118 years, Backus Hospital has served as a vital healthcare provider in Eastern Connecticut, featuring the only trauma center in the area and unique LIFE STAR helicopter services.
