Responsibilities
The RN triages patients, assesses their condition, administers medications and treatments, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, technicians, and support staff, and ensures timely interventions in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The RN also monitors patient progress, educates patients and families on health management, and maintains accurate documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and regulations. This role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality care.
- Assess patient/family health problems and resources; implement and evaluate nursing care plans.
- Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patients.
- Serve a diverse age range including young adults through geriatrics, understanding developmental and functional differences.
- Participate actively in fulfilling the organization's mission and demonstrate behavior aligned with its Core Values.
- Support the hospital's strategic and performance improvement plans.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Arizona state RN License
- American Heart Association-issued BLS, ACLS, and PALS cards
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two years of recent ED experience

Pay Range
$35.00 - $58.63 per hour
