Office Manager – Washington, D.C.
RemX by Employbridge has partnered with our mid-sized law firm client located Washington, D.C. to assist them with their search for an Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the office. This individual will play a key role in creating an efficient, collaborative, and professional environment, working closely with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure seamless support and smooth implementation of firm policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of office operations including facility maintenance, supplies, and equipment management.
- Partner with HR and Legal Support leadership to help supervise administrative staff, manage daily workflows, monitor attendance, and ensure a productive office environment.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and serve as the point of contact for building management and facilities-related issues (e.g., HVAC, cleaning, repairs).
- Support onboarding, training, and performance review processes for staff.
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts as needed.
- Plan and execute office events, including internal meetings, employee appreciation activities, and client-facing events in collaboration with the Atlanta office and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Accounting and other departments to ensure timely delivery of confidential materials, billing processes, and policy compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of office management experience, ideally within a legal or professional services setting.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal or administrative software is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (some flexibility), with occasional extended hours as needed.
- Compensation: Salary range is $100,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
