Description
DoubleTree by the Galleria is seeking a passionate and outgoing restaurant server. Candidates with previous restaurant serving experience who want to work with a great team are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume.
Abilities:
- At least one (1) year of restaurant serving experience required
- Bartending experience highly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
- Current TABC and Food Handlers certification
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
- Ability to carry 15-20 pounds
- Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and seat them in the restaurant
- Check food quality, serve guests promptly and courteously, and replenish beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and perform opening and closing side work duties
- Engage with guests, address concerns, and resolve complaints regarding food and beverage/dining experience
