Richard Wolf Medical Instruments is currently seeking Manufacturing Apprentices in Vernon Hills, IL. We offer both a 1-year and a 3-year Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program designed to give aspiring individuals hands-on experience, valuable skills, and a pathway to a successful career in manufacturing.

Participants will attend classes at Harper College combined with onsite on-the-job training. Richard Wolf covers your tuition, fees, and books, and pays for your school and work time.

Upon graduation, you will earn a certificate (1-year) or an associate degree (3-year), gain advanced technical skills, and have a promising future in the medical industry—all with no college debt. Additionally, a full-time position will be offered upon program completion.

Hourly Pay Rate for 1st year apprentices: $15.00/hr.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Acceptance into Harper College AAS Manufacturing Technology or Manufacturing Certificate program
• Openness to learning, training, and development at RWMIC and in the classroom
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Beginner computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented team player with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying 25+ pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, and pulling with specified weights

Work Environment Conditions:

• Exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and UV light
• Immunizations for Hep B and Flu Shots are offered annually
