Robotic Welding Operator

ProSteel Security Products, Inc., a Safe Manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented skilled Robotic Welding Operator to join our production team. We leverage advanced technologies and innovative practices to remain at the forefront of our industry.

Job Summary:
The Robotic Welding Operator will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, robotics, and problem-solving skills to ensure production targets are met while adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up, program, and operate robotic welding systems per specified requirements.
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications to ensure accurate welding processes.
3. Conduct quality inspections using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure welds meet industry standards and customer specifications.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with robotic welding equipment to maintain optimal production flow.
5. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems to ensure reliability and precision.
6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve cycle times.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
8. Document production data, including weld parameters, and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in robotic welding technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding technology or robotics is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Robotic Welding Operator or in a similar role in manufacturing.
3. Strong understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and robotic welding systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining welding robots and associated equipment.
6. Familiarity with quality control measures and inspection processes.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for long periods.
2. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, heat, and other elements.
