$90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Romero General Construction Corp. has been in business in the San Diego area since 1992 and specializes in grading, paving, curb, gutter, and sidewalk. Job Overview: Romero is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our private residential division. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating the costs and preparing bids for grading, paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and other site development projects. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely estimates for all assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the private residential construction market, along with expertise in these specific civil site work areas. Your ability to analyze plans, perform cost analysis, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers will be key to ensuring the success of our bidding process and overall project execution. (This will be a non-union position.) Key Responsibilities: Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work for grading, paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and other site development construction projects. Analyze topographic, geotechnical, and other project-specific reports to ensure an accurate understanding of site requirements. Monitor material costs and market trends to ensure estimates remain competitive and accurate. Provide detailed reports on estimate breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of 5-10 years of estimating experience with a proven track record. Relevant trade certifications or technical training in construction estimating, construction management and project management will be considered. Strong knowledge of grading, paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk construction processes. Strong ability to

manage multiple projects simultaneously

while adhering to deadlines. Compensation Range $90k – $150k with vehicle Salary will be commensurate with experience. Work Location : In office 2150 N.
