Primary Responsibilities Responsible for securing and managing new global account business in Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution and 3PL. Develop strong C-Level relationships within existing and target accounts focused in the Semiconductor and Technology vertical; and other verticals where applicable. Assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets including overall territory target and individual Semiconductor/Technology account targets. Manage a global customer list of 5-10 Semiconductor target accounts (existing/potential). Conduct strategic sales initiatives – identify global opportunities, decision makers, solutions. Make 10-15 direct customer calls/web meetings per month. Provide coaching and conduct joint sales calls with Regional/Local Account Executives. Maintain personal contact with large key Semiconductor/Technology customers. Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner. Determine market strategies & goals for each product and service obtaining & coordinating data & information from staff & member groups. Research and develop lists of potential Semiconductor customers doing market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff. Evaluate product & service marketability in terms of customers’ technical needs. Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets. Establish & maintain industry contacts that lead to sales. Work with Corporate and Branch Management, branch CS & operations staff to establish a communication path with and within the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products & services. Sales Activity Expectations: Established Annual Revenue Target. Weekly Sales Expectations – active sales 3-4 days per week (8-10 calls per week). Update Target Account list (Report) on a weekly basis. New Business reported and maintained on a monthly basis. Attend and report sales activity on a weekly basis via Sales Manager conference call. Valid state motor vehicle operator's license. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics. Behavioral Requirements : Strong Communication and teamwork skills. Influencing skills in a matrix environment. Patience – ability to deal with complex processes that may involve multiple levels of approval. Salary: $113,136 - $125,484 This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Qualifications
Qualifications Strong self-motivation and strategic focus – ability to quickly identify key decision makers and opportunities. 5 + years of significant experience in Semiconductor sales and marketing in a freight forwarding/logistics business. Strong Communication skills – ability to conduct Sr. level corporate meetings and executive presentations. Several years’ experience in general management concepts such as planning, accounting, administration, and economics. Ability to close business – clearly identify short and long-term Global Opportunities. High level of negotiating skills – ability to negotiate global contracts and processes. Strong coaching skills. Coach and mentor Regional/Local Sales staff. Organization Relationships: Will work with all levels in the organization.
