Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company. Position Summary Sage Health is seeking a dedicated Unarmed Physical Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Primary Responsibilities Patrol the exterior/interior areas of Sage Health centers to detect and deter security threats. Monitor surveillance cameras, panic alarms and alert the authorities when appropriate. Respond to emergencies, security incidents, and participate in life safety exercises. Enforce Sage Health rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Conduct security checks and inspections. Write detailed reports on incidents and observations. Serve as a member of the Sage Health Emergency Preparedness & Response Team. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques. Must have excellent communication skills and customer service. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques. Must be physically capable of handling demanding tasks (endurance, strength, agility). Prior military and/or previous law enforcement background a plus. Possession of relevant certificates such as (First Aid and CPR) CCTV monitoring a plus. Familiarity with surveillance systems and access control procedures. Must have the ability to commute to other Sage Health centers in the region. Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a US citizen or legal resident. Must have a valid State security guard certification. Must have at least 2 years of security experience. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass drug test. Must be able to pass background check. Must have a strong command of the English language. Must be able to work various shifts between 7:30am – 5:30pm plus after-hour events when needed. Reports To:
