We are seeking a Phlebotomist for our plasma donor clinic in Knoxville, TN.
Job Details:
- This is a unique role conducting initial health assessments of potential blood donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation. The Phlebotomist will do donor intake, perform vitals, a finger-stick and a head-to-toe medical exam.
- Qualified donors who pass the assessment will then be sent to the phlebotomy team for their blood donation, and donors who don't meet the requirements will be counselled by the nurse as to what measures need to be taken to qualify for donation next time.
- The clinic is open 7 days per week, so nurses who can work occasional weekends is required.
