DescriptionManages all aspects of the Long-Term Care Center including the daily operations, all patient care and business decisions, compliance with all regulations, budgeting, prepares various reports, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Plans and directs operations of the facility. Responsible for all aspects of care provided to residents and for the facility's environmental functioning.Oversees the hiring and training of employees.Oversees the activities of the medical, nursing, technical, clerical, support services, social service, activity, and volunteer staff. Maintain and develop standards, policies, programs, and operating procedures that comply with federal and state regulations as appropriate.Creates and administer budgets.Prepare official reports for the governing body and state and federal agencies as required.Attends various meetings including staff, families, the governing body, insurance companies, and Medicare and Medicaid administrators.Coordinates with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are being followedEnsures regular safety and compliance training as well as resident experience and a process for addressing concerns.Implements and oversees quality assurance programs to ensure resident safety.
