Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will fully utilize our Spark clusters' potential transforming vast amounts of raw data into actionable insights for feature developers and business analysts. This role involves handling ad hoc requests and maintaining data pipelines within our production environment. 6+ Years experience in Scala and Big Data Technologies. Clean transform and assess large datasets from various systems using Scala. Develop and maintain data pipelines embedded in our production environment. Provide ready-to-use data for feature developers and business analysts. Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. Collaborate with team members to know and address their data needs. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methods. Required Skills
Proficiency in Scala and Big Data technologies. Excellent SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Knowledge of distributed programming concepts. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly. Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with DevOps practices. Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with other big data tools and technologies. Life at Capgemini
