My client is a leading IVD organization currently seeking a Histology Manager to oversee all aspects of the histology lab, ensuring efficient operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with internal departments. This role involves direct supervision of staff, workflow optimization, and process improvements aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support histology staff, managing workload, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Oversee histological procedures, including microtomy, staining, and slide preparation for diagnostic purposes. Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. Troubleshoot technical issues in processing, microtomy, and staining. Qualifications Education:
BA/BS in chemical, physical, or biological sciences or medical technology (preferred). Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a Histotechnologist/Histotechnician, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Certification:
HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP), with ongoing CEU maintenance. Regulatory Knowledge:
