SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANY Arizona is looking for an Epi Engineering Manager to join our HVM nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As an Epi Module Engineering Manager, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm, embodying our core values Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust.
SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANY Arizonas Epi Department is responsible for leading new technology transfers, setting up new production lines, maintenance, and improving quality and productivity to ensure smooth production operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Elevate engineering and manufacturing excellence in the Epitaxy department
- Implement fundamental improvements in module process and equipment
- Innovate and seize opportunities for wafer quality and productivity enhancements
- Collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Improvement, and Cross-Module teams to sustain high-quality wafer production and delivery
- Proactively identify talent and develop team members with a clear career development plan
- Maintain ownership of daily operations
- Troubleshoot equipment issues
- Plan resources, prioritize tasks, and manage cross-functional work
Minimum Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- At least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, especially in module process development
- Experience with AMAT or ASM Epi 300mm tools and process knowledge
- Strong technical understanding of IC processing equipment, chemistry, physics, and integrated flow
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership
- Willingness to work in a clean room environment
- Willing to relocate to Taiwan for 6 to 9 months for training (expenses paid)
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
