As a Senior Construction Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, project cost accounting, and compliance for construction projects across the company. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic financial planning.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and timely collections.

• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.

• Coordinate annual audits, providing documentation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Analyze project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Utilize Sage Intacct for financial data management, reporting, and analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in the construction industry - building a structure from the ground & up

• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.

• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and construction-specific accounting practices.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software tools.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• CPA or similar certification is a plus.
