Direct message the job poster from Barrington James Clinical Operations Recruitment Consultant - (Contract) Position: Senior Clinical Operations Consultant (GI) Type: Contract / Consultant Location: Remote – U.S. based preferred Duration: 12 Months Start Date: TBC About the Role A biotech company specializing in gastrointestinal and rare diseases is seeking a seasoned Clinical Operations Consultant to support trials focused on GI conditions. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for end-to-end clinical trial execution. Key Responsibilities Drive the operational execution of assigned clinical trials (start-up to close-out) Oversee CROs, vendors, and investigative sites Manage timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Clinical, Regulatory, Medical, etc.) Contribute to protocol development, trial documents, and site materials Ensure GCP compliance and inspection readiness Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred) 8+ years of clinical operations experience, with senior-level responsibilities Strong track record in GI studies; SBS experience strongly preferred Experience in rare disease trials and small biotech environments a plus Proven ability to lead global trials and manage external vendors In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes If you are interested, get in touch with me ASAP by simply applying below.
