Converse Consultants is seeking candidates for a full-time Geotechnical Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer position for its State College, PA office. The Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer is expected to have experience with management and related geotechnical skills.

Qualifications

Experience will include:

• Geotechnical project experience (mandatory)
• general project management
• performing geotechnical site investigations
• geotechnical report writing
• excellent writing and communication skills
• knowledge of construction
• additional skills related to soil and rock laboratory testing

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in geology, geotechnical engineering, or soil mechanics.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a good driving record that is acceptable to our company insurance carrier.
• Minimum of 5 years geotechnical consulting experience,
• Knowledge of the regulations and standards, and the ability to work independently.
