$110,500.00 - $165,700.00 Annual Salary Job Description Summary:
Overall management of construction projects ensuring successful completion. Job Responsibilities: Perform all responsibilities of Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers. Estimate and establish budgets and contract prices (GMP/Lump Sum). Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases. Implement job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery. Maintain project schedule. Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors. Collaborate with Superintendents on safety plans and procedures. Provide timely and accurate reports to management. Manage, train, and supervise project teams per company policy. Organize meetings with management and subcontractors. Review contract conditions for compliance. Supervise documentation of significant project events. Oversee preconstruction services. Prepare and issue subcontract bid packages. Assist in business development and participate in interviews. Maintain quality control and project integrity. Support estimating staff. Mitigate claims and conflicts. Complete project close-out procedures. Conduct warranty follow-up (1-year warranty walks). Ensure project completion with full or enhanced fee. Perform other assigned responsibilities. Minimum Skills and Experience: Project experience within the K-14 Education Market is mandatory. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience. 5-8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills. Leadership, problem-solving, and strong sense of urgency. Organizational and communication skills. Drafting and computer skills. Basic knowledge of contract law and project accounting. Understanding of project management systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating).
