Job Description: Broadcom is seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer with team leadership and solid DevOps implementation experience to join our team. We support both software and hardware businesses covering a wide spectrum of CI/CD tools and platforms. You’ll work closely with our developers to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Work with various businesses inside Broadcom to understand current and future SCM requirements. Collaborate with our senior DevOps team to design, architect, and deliver full CI pipeline solutions. Deliver simple, scalable solutions. Continuously learn about the latest technologies and understand their deployment strategies. Communicate clearly with the team and internal customers. Monitor services and platforms, providing solutions and improvements. Essential Requirements: Undergraduate degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or similar. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of 12 years of experience in Software Engineering roles as a DevOps Platform engineer. Expertise in maintaining and managing software build infrastructure (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Expertise in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Expertise in IaC technologies like Helm, Packer, Terraform. Experience creating, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub, Gerrit, Gitlab, Perforce). Experience with SCM toolchains such as Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Twistlock, Blackduck, Coverity. Strong understanding of programming principles and versioning. Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc. Experience with system management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef. Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux system administration and networking. Experience managing VMware-based virtualization environments. Knowledge of test-driven development, software configuration management, and automated testing. Highly Desirable: Experience operating in fast-paced environments. Managing CI/CD pipelines for diverse software assets. Additional Information: Compensation and Benefits: The annual salary range is $103,000 - $182,000, with eligibility for bonuses and equity.
