Typical Duties: The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for development, integration, testing, and documentation of software for our ASN products. The Senior Software Engineer is also responsible for ensuring successful testing is conducted at the Advantor test site in Orlando, either in person or through our system test engineers. The Senior Software Engineer must be able to work in an agile environment within a cross-functional team. Required Skills: Minimum of 7 years related experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, C++, C#. In-depth knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres). Experienced developing software for access control/intrusion detection or similar systems. Ability to quickly become familiar with Advantor Systems code base. Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Adobe Flash and Adobe Air environments. Experience working in an agile environment. Ability to work under time constraints, self-starter, customer-focused, adaptable, and willing to work varying assignments. Organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong teaming skills. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program from an accredited institution.
