A successful candidate will be detail oriented with a keen eye for discrepancies. This position is responsible for ensuring invoices are matched with original purchase orders, bill of lading, and any other supporting documents necessary for backup. This role works with multiple areas including accounts receivable, customer service, and manufacturing. Experience is preferred; however, the right attitude and willingness to learn new skills go a long way in this position.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain all order and invoice files/paperwork for multiple brands.
- Ensure invoices have correct information/dollar value as acknowledgment.
- File open orders and rotate invoices to storage.
- Process and edit parts orders.
- Match up parts acknowledgments with purchase order paperwork.
- Match up BOLs from shipping with orders.
- Review orders for entry errors.
- Mark tickets and attach paperwork for manufacturing.
Key Skills, Competencies, and Requirements
- Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and a proven ability to succeed.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Working knowledge of computer applications and equipment, particularly Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Typing proficiency - words per minute as well as 10-key.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and information management skills.
- AS400 or Infinium experience a plus.
