A well-established aerospace manufacturing company in San Diego is looking for a Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machining experience and a passion for leadership in a precision-driven environment.
SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri; 5:45am - 2:45pm
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise shop floor activities, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met. Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks to machinists and production staff. Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving for CNC machines and equipment. Maintain workflow and optimize processes to meet production deadlines. Monitor performance and provide coaching or training as needed. Serve as the point of contact between the shop floor and upper management. Ensure adherence to quality and compliance procedures.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machining, or aerospace production environment. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of CNC machining, mechanical assembly, and shop safety. Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical documents. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
