is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team. Description The Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, testing, integration, and DevOps solutions across various activities related to the HPDA Compute Platform to meet project requirements. AVAILABLE TELEWORK : 16 hours/week Position Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLI for basic operations and package management Experience scripting with Shell/Bash/Python for automation Proficiency in Java and Python programming Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools like GitLab CI Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like Ansible Experience installing and supporting software and libraries involving data processing frameworks Familiarity with data formats like JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet General knowledge of Cloud and HPC systems Linux administration skills including system configuration and network management Experience with Docker containerization Experience deploying and managing containers in Linux environments Proficiency with Git for source control Position Desired Skills Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) Experience managing large Accumulo deployments on Linux Knowledge of Agile development methodologies Familiarity with GPU tools like PyTorch Experience with HPC workload managers such as Slurm Knowledge of ML frameworks like Hugging Face Qualifications An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
