SonarMD is looking for a new member for our fun, innovative and dedicated team to lead the building of our provider network that supports the delivery of our value-based arrangements. This person will be a self-starter, will have a track record of successfully selling services or software into the provider market and is energized by building relationships and markets from scratch. This team member will be supported by a nimble and driven marketing team but will be comfortable working to support the building of materials that will help to support their growth goals. This role will report directly to the CEO. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact sales strategy to recruit healthcare providers into our program. You will be supported by marketing and inside sales to some degree but will ultimately own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. By positioning SonarMD as a strategic partner to the providers in the care of their patients, you will also clearly articulate the alignment for the provider, payer and patient by participating in a value-based care program. To accomplish this, you will be accountable for the following activities: Proactively identify, engage, and close new provider partnerships, focusing on promoting the SonarMD solution and highlighting how we drive value in the provider market. Lead contract negotiations with providers, ensuring agreements align with business objectives and operations. Build a strong pipeline and implement activities that accelerate the sales cycle. This includes participation in local meetings and conferences. Partner closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to develop sales collateral and sales enablement tools and ensure seamless provider onboarding. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
7+ years of
successful sales, business development, or provider relations experience , specifically selling
analytics, technology solutions, or services
into
healthcare providers
(hospitals, health systems, or physician groups). Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of
provider networks, reimbursement models
(e.g., fee-for-service, value-based care), and the regulatory landscape. Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated success in
hunting and closing new business ,
exceeding sales targets , and
building long-term provider partnerships .
Experience selling analytics, services, or tech solutions into GI practices is a strong plus. Sales Expertise:
Skilled at
consultative selling , with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, influence decision-makers, and drive adoption of innovative solutions. Communication & Negotiation:
Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and
negotiation skills , with the ability to develop and deliver messaging to influence executives and providers. Strategic & Adaptive:
Ability to
develop and execute a data-driven sales strategy
while adjusting to an evolving healthcare market. Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in using
CRM tools
and leveraging data analytics to inform sales strategies. Self-Starter & Entrepreneurial Mindset:
