Southgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technicians are pivotal in delivering exceptional care during surgical and dental procedures. They are responsible for coordinating and executing precise treatment plans, preparing animals for surgery, assisting in the OR, performing dental procedures, and outpatient care.
In this role, you will maintain detailed surgical records, review and implement treatment plans, and address client questions regarding their pet's care. You will also work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep procedures on schedule. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who excel in multi-tasking and want to fully utilize their skill set and license.
This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday - Friday.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
Compensation: $20- $25 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform allowance Minimum qualifications and skill set:
Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of North Dakota 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in the following skills:
Anesthesia induction/ monitoring Dental prophy Blood draws Radiographs Outpatient care
