$95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Service Delivery Technician II | Human Resources Professional | Bridging Technology & People
Our client, a reputable construction firm, specializes in waterfront, transportation, water/wastewater, and heavy civil projects. They partner with major public agencies, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Caltrans. They are seeking a Field Safety Manager to drive a strong safety culture across projects spanning from Pomona to San Diego, CA. This role is 80% field-based, working closely with site crews and management to ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader committed to excellence in heavy civil and infrastructure construction. Key Responsibilities: Perform field audits and monitor safety practices. Ensure compliance with Cal OSHA Safety Orders. Develop and implement job-specific safety plans. Assist with hazard analysis and safety preparation. Maintain safety documentation (AHA, JHA, Toolbox Talks). Provide safety reports to the Safety Director. Mentor subcontractors on safety practices. Administer IIPP and accident prevention plans. Qualifications: 5 years of civil experience. Strong knowledge of Cal OSHA regulations. Experience with safety audits and hazard analysis. Proficient in safety documentation. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to be onsite full-time. Ability to help create and review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Work Plans for both company and subcontractor work. Safety knowledge of excavations, fall protection, confined space, and typical construction activities. Preference: CHST Certified. HCSS Safety Platform. This is a
