Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking multiple Top Secret or TS / SCI cleared Chief Space Systems Engineer with backgrounds in National Security Space to join our SETA team in El Segundo, California. For this effort we are providing programmatic and technical advisory services to the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command and Space Operations. Program Overview : In this effort, you will be a part of a specialized engineering team with a large integrator that supports the delivery of cutting-edge defensive / offensive solutions to spacecraft as well as advanced ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) assets, and operations. Projects may encompass model-based systems engineering, modeling and simulation, agile software development, orbital / flight controls, launch capabilities, and other avenues. Engages with developers to evaluate software simulators, engineering units, and hardware simulators through integration activities. Leads technical requirements development, systems engineering, and oversees development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systems. Oversees payload integration and interface control management. Performs system integration of multiple efforts to integrate complex space systems, ground segment integration, and deployment into operations. Oversees requirements verification and validation. Makes program risks assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the chief engineer and program manager. General Requirements : Bachelor of Science and eighteen (18) years or more experience; master's and sixteen (16) years or more experience or an additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination. Experience with space systems development, integration, and / or operations of DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.). Prior experience supporting aerospace, electronic warfare, satellite engineering, space control, space operations, orbital warfare operations, RPO, weapon systems-based engineering efforts Compensation : Salary Range : $180,000 - $225,000 ( compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education) Benefits : Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 05 / 02 / 2025.
