Qualifications

• License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Master or Bachelors of PT

Physical Demand Capacity

• Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
• Lifting: loads of 5-35 lbs from various positions
• Carrying: loads of 5-10 lbs for 40-50’
• Pushing: loads of 5-150 lbs on casters, runners or pulleys
• Sustaining a grip: 40-50 lbs for 1-2 minutes
• Guarding a “lift load”: 120-140 lbs
