Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Specialty Clinic Nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure quality care for patients with specific medical needs, while promoting patient safety and comfort.
Provide direct care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
Educate patients on their conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Document patient interactions and care in the EHR system.
Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and ensure a safe environment.
Support patient flow, including scheduling and follow-ups.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
Current RN license in IOWA
1+ years of clinical experience (outpatient/primary care preferred)
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS certification (ACLS a plus)/Mandatory reporter
Strong communication and patient care skills
Comfortable with EHR systems and multitasking
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
