K-12 Students Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Yelm, WA. This full-time, onsite position will involve working with K-12 students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and a passion for helping students of all ages improve their communication skills, which are vital to their academic and social success. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs. Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development and progress. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive technologies as needed. Document and maintain accurate records of student progress in compliance with school policies. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA certification (or eligibility). Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff.
