Additionally, this position provides support of the capital budget and operating forecast processes, monitoring and reporting against goals or expectations, and participating in the development of the Associate Financial Analysts Primary Accountabilities: Quality/No Harm: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of department deliverables Assist the Sr Financial Analysts by providing necessary strategic and financial support of IDN wide projects Ensure that all department deliverables reflect professional presentation Understanding of Clinical and Financial concepts necessary to support complex lines of business Stewardship: Proactively participate in generating specific annual department goals and objectives Prepare profitability analysis of IDN wide projects and initiatives. Collaborate with Sr Financial Analyst on IDN financial recommendations based on analysis. Support the assigned business lines with the development of capital budgets, operating forecasts, and measurement of key performance indicators against goals or targets. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Strategy and Finance teams to develop solutions, programs and policies to support the organization and individual business units. Use department resources efficiently and effectively. Partner with team members to achieve department goals. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or relevant field. Work Experience: Minimum two years' experience in financial analysis required. Healthcare or related experience Preferred. Fundamental knowledge of clinical/financial information system use. Ability to work with limited supervision. Enthusiasm and high level of job interest. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess computer abilities as well as oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to relate well with all customers and peers Knows and applies fundamental clinical and financial concepts necessary to analyze operational performance of the departments Ability to prioritize and organize to maximize quality, value and service. Remain current on all financial regulations and standards. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of clinical/financial information system use. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Enthusiasm and high level of job interest. Posses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess strong computer abilities as well as oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to relate well with all customers and peers. Ability to prioritize and organize to maximize quality, value and service. Posses and applies fundamental clinical and financial concepts necessary to analyze operational performance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Hospital/Healthcare preferred Physical Requirements Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. Long periods of computer time or at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined.
