On-Site Requirement:
ON SITE 4-5 days a week REQUIRED. No exceptions.
Purpose of the Position
Lead and manage IT projects with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, documentation, and communication. Support the VSP Communications Division in coordinating with vendors and external agency partners. Ensure stakeholder engagement and timely task execution. Promote process optimization and change management strategies across project efforts.
Daily Responsibilities
Develop and maintain all project documentation required by Procurement and VITA. Track and report progress and outcomes for major active projects. Manage and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Serve as a liaison between project teams and vendors, ensuring effective, timely, and accurate communication. Create clear and concise presentations for a wide range of audiences with varying technical understanding.
Key Skills And Competencies
Over 10 years of experience managing complex IT projects. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, including multi-year implementations. Strong background in producing value proposition comparisons, cost-benefit analyses, and project proposals. Experience handling and managing requests for information (RFIs). Skilled in creating executive-level presentations. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines. Effective interpersonal skills to build productive relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Experience And Certifications
PMP Certification – highly desirable. VITA PMD Certification – highly desirable. Experience in asset and/or fleet management systems. Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud solutions. Background in process improvement and organizational change management. Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
