Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Optimize OLTP systems and SQL/T-SQL queries Develop and manage ETL processes and pipelines Collaborate with Engineering and Analytics teams to structure scalable data architecture Implement Schema documentation using Schema Spy Monitor database performance and storage Ensure data accuracy through regular QA and testing Maintain database security, backups, and disaster recovery protocols Stay current with best practices in SQL optimization and data engineering You should have most of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 7 years' experience as a Database Engineer in a healthcare environment Strong SQL skills including writing, optimization, and troubleshooting Experience with EDW, OLTP, and ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.) Solid foundation in data modeling, schema design, and documentation Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and security practices Agile development experience and strong collaboration across technical/business units Preferred: Experience with clinical managed care systems and healthcare concepts Ability to travel to Plymouth Meeting HQ 2-4 times annually
