https://www.freemanrestoration.com/ We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Field Estimator to estimate large losses for the company. This role is highly challenging and competitively compensated for the right individual. As the Field Estimator, you will be responsible for visiting sites of fire losses after they have hired Freeman Restoration to produce accurate and detailed estimates. You will collaborate with Insurance Adjusters and Public Adjusters to ensure all necessary repairs are addressed and to facilitate and hold vendors accountable for activities like engineering, abatement, etc. A key responsibility is working with clients to build and maintain trust during the adjustment process and to get projects into production. This position demands high standards of accuracy and timeliness. You will also work with subcontractors and other resources to provide quotes and cost comparisons, managing multiple estimates simultaneously with a high degree of attention to detail. Responsibilities: Produce accurate and timely fire restoration estimates, including gathering supporting documentation. Work strategically with Insurance and Public Adjusters to achieve favorable settlements. Coordinate with outside vendors and ensure adherence to timelines. Serve as the primary contact with clients up to the start of work. Participate in company and department meetings. Engage with EOS and other company systems. Attend quarterly in-person company meetings. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience or equivalent education and experience. At least 5 years of sales experience. Strong time management and attention to detail skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 50% of the time (by car). Experience with insurance adjusting is a plus. Proficiency with Xactimate (data entry, sketching). Experience with Matterport and/or iGuide. Ability to interpret Eagle View data. Experience reading engineering plans. Capability to estimate large losses. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Salary and Benefits: Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. 3 paid sick days per year. 5 paid holidays per year. 5 paid vacation days after one year of service. 10 paid vacation days after 5 years of service. $350 monthly contribution towards a company-sponsored medical plan. Profit sharing as per company policy. Mileage allowance.
