This role involves working with various teams to improve and streamline the design and estimation processes related to fiber infrastructure, including outside and inside plant construction. The position requires collaboration with Sales Engineering, Data and Digital, Standards, and Technology teams to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and implement solutions. Responsibilities
Improve sales processes and maintain related activities. Define and modify business rules for fiber design and estimation tools. Develop and update scopes of work for fiber engineering projects. Provide Tier 1 support to Sales Engineers regarding systems and tools. Conduct quarterly cost analyses and refine cost models. Manage geospatial data sets used in design and estimation tools. Collaborate with Sales Engineering to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, Electrical Engineering or related fields. At least 5 years of GIS experience with platforms like QGIS, ESRI, MapInfo, or similar. Or 7+ years of outside plant engineering management experience, or 5+ years in fiber sales engineering. Skills and Attributes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Customer-oriented with a cheerful demeanor. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and geospatial processing platforms. Additional Details
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Business Process. Work Environment: Hybrid model, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Salary Range: $105,300 - $144,800 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits. Employment Details
