The basics of this position:
Performs duties necessary to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings; assists in arranging furniture and equipment; maintains equipment and materials.
What you'll do:
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings.
- Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, and other assigned areas.
- Moves furniture, assists with meeting setup and breakdown.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Assists in examining campus for safety hazards.
- Reports needs and concerns to the appropriate staff.
- May assist Grounds during weather emergencies.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education, experience, and other requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and custodial experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
