Senior Battery Applications Enginee An innovative company specializing in the development, design, and manufacturing of high-performance lithium-ion cells for advanced applications. Creating the industry’s highest energy density cell for commercial use. Lead technical integration of advanced battery cells and modules into customer systems, covering electrical, thermal, and mechanical interfaces Validate performance through testing, simulation, and lifetime modeling under varied duty cycles Translate client requirements into clear internal engineering specifications and guide product enhancements Conduct DFMEA and safety assessments to comply with UL, UN 38.3, SAE, and other relevant standards Troubleshoot system-level issues in collaboration with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and internal quality teams Produce and deliver technical documentation: integration guides, application notes, and training materials Serve as subject matter expert at trade shows, conferences, and direct customer workshops Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in battery applications, systems engineering, or electrochemical integration Deep understanding of Li-ion battery technology, BMS, and pack architecture Proficiency with simulation/modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, COMSOL, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of battery safety, compliance testing, and thermal/electrical management Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing engagements Proven ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams within fast-paced environments Experience in aerospace, UAV, electric vehicle, or space-grade battery systems Hands-on lab experience with battery cycling, diagnostic platforms, and test equipment Familiarity with DOE, Six Sigma, or other statistical design and validation methodologies Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus scheme Comprehensive healthcare and pension plan Seniority level
