UNITY HEALTH AND REHAB, A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN MIAMI, FLORIDA, is seeking an experienced STAFFING COORDINATOR to work WEEKENDS. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility. OnShift experience a plus!
The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for the facility. Assure scheduling of workdays, hours and shifts meet staffing standards in accordance with regulatory requirements & facility guidelines. Maintain a fair and equitable practice when necessary to float staff to a different assignment and in the distribution of overtime.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Scheduling program (OnShift) experience preferred Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required Must be proficient in Word & Excel Must be bilingual in English and Spanish – Creole is a plus. A minimum of 1 year experience is required in a skilled nursing facilty. Must be bi-lingual - English and Spanish Requirements: Must pass a Level II Background Screening Must pass drug test COVID-19 considerations: Negative Covid-19 test Required for all new applicant. 8 hour shift Day shift Weekend shift NOTE: All Applicants must speak and be able to write in English
