Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
Develop CIP Manual for 5 CIP systems, and work with Chemserve to validate CIP and wash cycles. Will give the intern valuable experience and understanding of food sanitation and plant GMPs. Update lab procedures to the new DFA procedure formats, and insure they meet the requirements of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Product and Corporate Procedures Work Sanitation Supervisor and QA Manager on sanitation PM programs . Work on and develop effective filler clean procedures and training program for fillers. Monitors plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices daily so that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Will give the intern valuable experience and understanding of food sanitation and Plant GMPs. Other assignments in the QA department as needed.
The qualified candidate will be a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Dairy Science, Food Science, Food Processing or related field.
