Description
Our growing business is in need of an Account Representative to help increase sales in our market from our Indianapolis, IN office. Successful candidates will sell company products and services via telephone, internet, e-mail and fax. Works in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, Product Management, and Sales Management to increase customer penetration and sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.

Our Account Representative:
- Sells products and services offered by TTI, including product lines, AIM programs, quality, and value-added services, by building relationships and tailoring the sales approach to meet customers' needs.
- Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timelines by working with branch or corporate product managers to get competitive pricing.
- Processes customer orders accurately and timely, ensuring quality expectations are met.
- Expands product knowledge by utilizing resources including product literature and sales managers.
- Participates in the TTI Total Quality process to maintain efficient sales cycles and reduce errors.
- Increases customer account base by compiling lists of prospective leads and making cold calls.
- Provides management with information regarding sales and marketing strategies by preparing reports on account territory.
- Attends sales calls with Field Sales Representatives to develop relationships with customers.
- Resolves discrepancies identified within the job function in a timely manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
