Program/Project Manager Contract Duration:
12-18 months w/ potential for conversion Location:
Onsite at a state-of-the-art campus in Wilmington, NC Position Overview: As our Technology Program Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of a large-scale program that will shape the future of our client's lending business. You will be responsible for managing a complex, multi-faceted program and ensuring it aligns with strategic business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior leadership to deliver top-quality results. If you have experience leading technology programs from concept to completion and a deep understanding of banking and financial technology, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership:
Lead a complex program with a focus on driving delivery and organizational adoption. Change Management Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy that includes communication plans, training, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management to support successful technology and process implementations. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders (executives, business units, vendors) to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented effectively. Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI. Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present detailed program status reports, project plans, and other critical documentation to leadership and key stakeholders. Qualifications: Proven Experience:
Program management of a successful large-scale technology initiative, preferably supporting the banking industry. Leadership:
Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams, driving performance, and fostering collaboration. Technical Expertise:
Strong technical understanding of systems, software development, infrastructure, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project management methodologies. Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving:
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues and removing blockers. Organizational Skills:
