Chief Operating Officer (COO)
of
McLaren Macomb . The COO will be a key partner to the CEO, the executive leadership team, clinical partners, and Board members. McLaren Macomb seeks an accomplished, results-oriented healthcare executive to serve as the Chief Operating Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO of McLaren Macomb, the COO has the responsibility for driving operational direction and improvement initiatives in collaboration with the CEO and Senior Leadership team. In addition, the COO has primary administrative responsibility for leading, directing, and driving continuous operating performance improvement. The COO, through direct reports and collaboration with other senior leaders, ensures that departments achieve budgeted financial objectives through continual oversight of business operations. McLaren Macomb is a 288-bed acute care hospital located in Mount Clemens, Mich. Over 400 physicians and nearly 2,000 employees work at McLaren Macomb, making it one of Macomb County’s top employers. McLaren Macomb provides a full range of services, including cancer, surgical services, orthopedics, and cardiovascular care. As Macomb County’s first verified trauma center, the hospital operates the busiest emergency department in Macomb County. It is also an accredited chest pain center, a certified primary stroke center, and an accredited bariatric and metabolic center. McLaren Macomb has a rich history of providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare and holds a sound position in the community it serves. McLaren Macomb serves as a base hospital site for medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of Medicine and Health Science, offering various residency and fellowship programs.
