Verition Fund Management LLC ("Verition") is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the firm’s head of data strategy and sourcing, engage in vendor management, procurement, and reporting for the firm as a whole. Manage the data and platform needs for the firm’s internal trading groups. Contract management (Preparation, Negotiation, Renewal). Interface with 3rd party service providers and be an effective conduit between our internal departments and outside vendors. Track all subscriptions, entitlements and report usage to the necessary internal and external entities as required. Coordinate billing with our internal accounting department for cost allocations and budgetary forecasting. Requirements:
Must be comfortable communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders. Customer focused with strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of Domestic and International Market Data offerings, both real-time and historic. Experience with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, MSCI, NYSE, Nasdaq, CME, S&P, etc. Able to multi-task and work under pressure, plan and problem solve. Must possess a willingness to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job and business. Ability to learn new systems quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel. Knowledge of EMRS and cost allocation systems such as Stavtar, FITS, and MDSL. Bachelor's degree required. 2-5 years’ experience of relevant experience, preferably at an investment manager or data vendor. Salary Range
$150,000 - $200,000 USD
