A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Programs and Services: Oversee the development and operation of programs/services assigned by the Chief Operating Officer. Ensure that assigned programs/services meet certification and regulatory requirements. Oversee the hiring, development, supervision, and evaluation of staff in assigned programs/services. Ensure the development and education of agency policies and procedures to include internal operation manuals, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. Participate in budget development and actively oversee financials of all assigned programs/services. Maintain working knowledge of state and county initiatives that may impact The Arc Wayne while seeking collaborations and development opportunities. Work with the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer in long-range planning and assist in Agency implementation of policies. Who We Are Looking For: Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations and programs, including residential and clinical services. A Master's Degree in Health or Human Services or a related field and three years of experience in a related field and three years of management experience. OR a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Services or related field and five years of experience in a related field and three years of management experience. A valid New York State driver's license that meets Agency Driver standards. Vice President of Program and Services Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
