The Durham VA Health Care System is excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist to join our team at the new Garner VA Clinic.
Position Highlights:
- Non-invasive cardiologist
- Predominantly in outpatient setting M-F (no nights, no weekends)
- Opportunities for inpatient rounding in the CICU/consult service at Durham VA Medical Center (if candidate is interested)
- Seeing outpatient general cardiology consults, managing patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, arrythmias, & valvular heart disease
- Support referrals to sub-specialists including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and advanced CHF group
- Supervising/reading stress tests, holter monitors/EKGs, and ECHOs/stress ECHO
- Practice is looking to recruit 2 MDs, 2 APPs, 1 cardiology pharmacist, and RN support
- Brand new facility and equipment
